Alice Mae Demps Moore

Alice Mae Demps Moore was born Feb. 7, 1948 to Thomas and Easter Mae Demps in Sanford, FL.  She graduated from Crooms Academy in 1966 and was married to the late Robert Moore, Sr. for 20 years.

Alice worked for Hillhaven Nursing Home as a Dietary Cook for over 20 years and Walmart for over 5 years.  She enjoyed visiting her cousin Elizabeth in South Carolina, working crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sylvia L. Demps Young Green.  She is survived by her Loving Children, Daughter Alisa M. Moore Character, Winter Park, FL and Sons Robert Moore, Jr. (Michelle) Deltona FL and Bryant A. Moore (Kedra) Jacksonville FL; Brothers, Thomas Demps, Jr., Winter Springs, FL and Freddie Demps Robinson (Joan), Anchorage, AK; Nine Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces and Nephews whom she loved dearly.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, 11am and visitation on Friday, March 15, 2024, 5-7pm, both at First Shiloh MB Church, 700 S. Elm Ave., Sanford FL.

Final care is entrusted to Gail & Wynn’s Mortuary, 1300 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL  32805.
