Despite event cancellations, Seminole County turns out to honor fallen on Memorial Day

Despite the cancelation of Memorial Day events in Sanford, many still visited Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Sanford on Monday.

Small memorial displays, as well as flags provided by the City of Sanford, lined Veterans Memorial Park in lieu of Monday’s Memorial Parade and Veteran Remembrance Ceremony.
