Sanford city staff brought a budget of $139 million for fiscal year 2021 for the Commission to work on in its budget session Wednesday. The Commission will follow up at the work session and regular meeting on Monday.

Historic Downtown Sanford served as the setting for a national insurance commercial filmed at a home on Magnolia Avenue Thursday. It was one of three Central Florida filming locations, according to the production supervisor.
