Using a license plate reader, Volusia County Sheriff’s detectives located and arrested a local man in connection with a robbery early Tuesday morning at a Circle K gas station in DeBary.

Sanford Mayor Art Woodruff proclaimed Nov. 24 as Mrs. Annie Ruth Wright Day, which will now be celebrated annually in Sanford. He made the proclamation Monday with Mrs. Wright’s three surviving daughters there to accept.
