To enhance pedestrian safety, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has installed a new innovative safety feature at the crosswalk on U.S. 17-92 between S.R. 417 and Lake Mary Boulevard in Sanford.

Mitessa Jones won Thursday’s Showtime in Sanford over nine other contestants that included singers, guitarists, a keyboard player, rappers, two comedians and choreographed dancing.
