Wharton-Smith, Inc. is proudly the Construction Manager serving Seminole County Public Schools in the construction of the Lake Howell High School Classroom Building. Subcontractor bids are being solicited to complete the work as described below.
The work includes the construction of a 46,000 SF two-story masonry classroom building on an occupied campus. Trades required include but are not limited to, site work; landscape & irrigation; fencing; asphalt paving; termite control; concrete; lightweight insulating concrete; block & brick masonry; structural & misc. steel and railings; finish carpentry; cabinetry; caulking & waterproofing; metal composite wall panels, single-ply PVC roofing; doors & hardware; aluminum windows; glazing; drywall; ACT; ceramic tile; resilient tile; carpet; paint; specialties; aluminum canopies; hydraulic elevator; fire suppression; plumbing; HVAC; electrical, communications, safety & security systems.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for August 9, 2022, at 8:30 am, at 4200 Dike Rd, Winter Park, Fl 32792. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend; however attendance is not mandatory.
The RFI deadline is August 16, 2022, by 5:00 pm. Please submit all RFI’s to comest@whartonsmith.com. Do not contact the Architect or Owner for information on this project.
