Featured pet of the week: Tux

Tux came into the shelter as a stray, way back in April. He is ready to leave the shelter and move on to a home of his own. He is just waiting for his new family to come find him. Tux is 2 years old and only 40 pounds. He is a friendly fella and was chosen a few times to go with volunteers around Seminole County as an ambassador in our Hound Around Town program, where it was noted that he rides great in the car. Tux is heartworm negative, neutered and vaccinated. He is also microchipped. Come meet Tux and all his other friends. Seminole County Animal Services is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday with extended hours on Wednesdays until 6:30 p.m. for adoptions.
