POLICY TITLE: Policy 5120.01 Revision of School Attendance Zones
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The School Board seeks to revise the school attendance zones for areas proposed for new residential developments to insure balanced school enrollment. The area is known as Parkside Place and is currently undeveloped and is located on the east side of SR 17-92, north of Ronald Reagan Blvd. The parcels contain approximately 107.9 acres and has approved entitlements of a maximum of 4828 multi-family units. The affected schools are Lake Mary High School and Winter Springs High School. The subject properties are currently undeveloped and have no residential building permits issued at this time.
