Dear Mr. Sloman:
On February 12, 2021, the St. Johns River Water Management District (District) received your application and plans, requesting an exemption verification for the above referenced project in Seminole County. Based on this submittal and subsequent information and fee received on February 18, 2021, February 25, 2021, March 8, 2021 and March 15, 2021, the project is a water quality improvement project and involves the installation of a diversion structure along an exiting storm pipe within the Lake View Drive right-of-way to prevent trash and sediment from entering Pine Lake.
Based on the information provided, this project does not exceed and permitting thresholds pursuant to Chapter 62-330.020, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). Therefore, a District permit is not required and your exemption fee of $100.00 will be refunded.
Please be aware that this determination only applies to the District and does not relieve you from the permitting requirements of other agencies.
