Featured pet of the Week: Heathcliff
Meet Heathcliff. This stoic 5-year-old came into us as a stray and has been waiting for his chance at a new home since Oct. 21. Don’t let his perturbed face fool you, he is a very sweet boy. He can be a bit shy at first but with lots of love and pets he warms up quickly. He loves chin scratches; he cannot get enough of those. If you have some time to devote to plenty of chin scratches and treats this guy will be your very best friend. We have updated him on all his vaccines, microchipped and neutered him, and he is negative for FIV and Felv. Hurry in! We are bursting at the seams with great animals for adoption. We have reduced all our adoption fees to just $5 to help promote adoptions! Stop in and fall in love with Heathcliff and some of the other great animals waiting for forever homes for the holidays! Adoption is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday with extended hours on Wednesday until 6:30 p.m. Seminole County Animal Services is located at 232 Eslinger Way in Sanford. You can view all of the adoptable dogs and cats at Seminolecountypets.com.
