EB Hudson

Deacon EB Hudson, 83, of Sanford, Florida, peacefully transitioned on April 17, 2024. Born on October 20, 1940, in Madison, Florida, to the late Ed and Oriener Hudson, EB attended The Public School of Madison County, Florida. His career journey saw him serve as a Foreman for NASA, Custodian for the Sanford Plaza, Stockroom Manager for J.C. Penny, and Custodian for the Seminole County School Board, primarily at the Student Museum. Deacon EB remained a cherished resident of Sanford since 1956. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Claretha P. Hudson; sons Timothy D. Hudson, Sr. (Molly) and Thara L. Hudson, Sr. (Jessica); daughters Kimberly C. Williamson (Lawrence) and Shirley Debose; sister Barbara Peacock (Willie); grandchildren Robert Ionnoe, Angelique Hudson, Timothy D. Hudson, II, Kylan Williamson, Lawren Claire Williamson, Thara L. Hudson, Jr., Treniece Hudson, and Mekeda Debose. He also leaves behind beloved nieces, cousins, other relatives, and numerous friends. A memorial service to honor E.B. Hudson's life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Rescue Church of God, 1700 Historic Goldsboro Blvd. (13th Street) Sanford, FL, with Pastor Robert Bradley officiating, Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Friday (Apr 26) at Rescue Church of God.
