Christopher Stephone Hills

Christopher Stephone Hills, also known as “Cheese”, 38, of Sanford, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2024, at his residence. He was born to the late Sabrina L. Hills on July 6, 1985, in Sanford, Florida. Christopher attended Seminole County Public Schools, Sanford, Florida. He worked in the lawn care industry for several years as a landscaper until his health did not permit him to do so. Christopher enjoyed grilling(barbecuing), family gatherings, fishing, joking, and being a prankster. His smile will be remembered by everyone he loved and cared for.

Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Sabrina L. Hills; and grandmother, Lorine Hills.

Christopher is survived by his children, Chkyra Hills, Christopher S. Hills, Jr., Skyla Simmons, Chrishaud Hills, Chloe Hills, Chayce Hills, Chrishara Hills, Christian Hills, and Chrishawn Hills; father, Willie Lee “Stokes” Smith; sisters; Crystal J. Hill, and Julie J. “Quanda” Oliver; 7 additional siblings: 4 sisters and 3 brothers; grandfather, Willie Hills, Sr. (Pearl); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends. 

The visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 4 PM to  6 PM at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 900 Locust Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771.

 A Celebration of Life Service for Christopher Stephone Hills a.k.a. "Cheese" will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1203 South Olive Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771 with Pastor Cubit Malone, officiating. Interment immediately following the service at Evergreen Cemetery, 1975 West 25th Street, Sanford, Florida 32771.
