HICKSON
Arlis Steven Hickson, 39, passed away May 24, 2010 at his home in Deltona.
Steven was born in Sanford February 25, 1971. He attended schools in Sanford and received his GED from Seminole Community College. He worked at the Timacuan Golf Club for a short period before going to work at the School Board of Seminole County for 15 years. He was currently employed by Malchaesky Construction Company.
Steve loved the outdoors, teaching his Children how to fish, swim, camp, love and to enjoy life. He was a wonderful Son, Father and Companion.
He is survived by three children, Colton Tyler, 7, Chase Mitchell, 4 and Alexis Skylar 3, all of Deltona; mother, Betty Baker of Sanford; his partner in life, Delia Caro; two sisters, Jamie Hickson Williams of Sanford and Samatha Huggins of Deltona; Father Tom Hickson (Retired Fire Chief-Sanford) step-mother Betty Hickson of Sanford; maternal grandmother, Flo Baker of Deltona and over 100 aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

STEVEN C. MILLS
Steven C. Mills, 17, passed away on May 22, 2010 in Deltona.
Steven was born on September 15, 1992 in Lake City to Bob and Ginny Mills. He enjoyed skateboarding, bicycling, playing his bass and electric guitar, socializing on myspace and girls. He attended Pine Ridge High School in Deltona.
Steven is survived by his loving family, father and mother, Bob and Ginny Mills, Deltona; brother, Robert Mills, Deltona; sister, Serena Mills, Deltona; maternal grandmother, Gail Shaffer, Louisville, Ky.; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth (Mike) Syrakis, Palatka; 3 uncles, Richard (Angela) Mills, Lake Mary; Oren Shaffer, Keystone Heights; Eddie Stark, Metter, Ga.
Funeral services were held Friday at Gramkow Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at the Hollywood Cemetery in Orange City on Saturday, at 10 a.m.

VINCENT BERNARD
ROBINSON, JR.
Vincent Bernard Robinson, Jr., 3, of Oviedo, passed away May 23, 2010 at Central Florida Regional Hospital.
He was born in Orlando.
He is survived by his father, Vincent B. Robinson, Sr. of Oviedo; mother, Nanette G. Robinson of Oviedo; brothers, Quandarius Watkins and Ventrell Gammons, both of Oviedo; sisters, Quandesia Watkins and Angela Jackson, both of Oviedo, and Jasheata Robinson, of Orlando; paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Horace Jenerette, of Oviedo; and maternal grandparents, Wallace and Edna Jones, of Sanford.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo with Pastor Alonzo Smith officiating.

WHARTON
Sylvia Wharton, 82, of Sanford, passed away peacefully May 25, 2010, in her home in Lake Mary.
Sylvia was born August 29, 1927, in Sanford, the youngest of two children born to the late Edmund and Marie Meisch. Being a true native of Florida, she was very proud of her Southern heritage. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1945 and attended Florida State University where she majored in fine arts and was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority. For over 50 years, she was a member of the Sanford Chapter of the PEO and also served as president. In 1947 she met and married the love of her life, Mason Wharton. Sylvia was best known for her sense of style, great sense of humor and her love for her husband and family.
She is predeceased by her sister, Angela Meisch Blair, who died in 2003.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Mason; their four children, Mason Wharton, Jr., Candone Wharton, Lillian Wharton Taylor and Camille Wharton Lupton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Sanford Saturday at 11 a.m.

KENNETH LEE
WILLIAMS, SR.
Kenneth Lee Williams, Sr., 76, of Sanford, went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2010.
Kenneth was born in Leeds, Ala., and moved to Sanford over fifty years ago. He was a US Naval Aviation Mechanic in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War, and earned a Good Conduct Medal while serving his country. Ken was an Engineer for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center. He worked on the Apollo Space Mission, as well as many Shuttle Missions, until his retirement after over thirty years on the job.
Ken is survived by his wife, Alice (Brown) Williams; son, Kenneth Lee Williams, Jr. (Jeanne Williams); daughter Kristen M (Williams) Wilson (Richard Williams); grandchildren, Angela, Christopher and Aimee Wilson and Kaleigh and Claire Williams; niece, Vicki (Harden) Wall (Doug Wall); and nephew, Michael Harden (Diane Harden); and great-nephews, Tyler Wall, Michael Harden, Jr. and Travis Harden.
A gathering to celebrate Ken’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at First Baptist Church -Sanford. A reception will follow the service in the church hall.
