ROBERT LEONARD DUNNING

Robert Leonard Dunning, 61, passed away September 15, 2009 at the Central Florida Regional Hospital.

Robert was born in Eustis, FL to Fredrick and Anna Mae Dunning in 1947. He had many hobbies and interests and among them were hunting, fishing, and being a dedicated family man.

He is survived by his beloved wife, of 45 years, Betty Ann Dunning, daughters, Sissy (Edward) Michalowski, Sanford; Sheri Scott, Geneva; Robin (Kevin) Ruehl, Sanford; son, Luke Dunning, Sanford; brother, Rusty Dunning, Sanford; sister, Sharon Mullins, Lake Mary; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Robert L. Dunning, Jr.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Robert Dunning will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Palmetto Avenue Baptist Church in Sanford with Reverend Dennis Thomas officiating.

DARETHA BEVERLY EADY

Daretha Beverly Eady, 54 of Sanford, passed away September 12, 2009 at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford.

She was born August 24, 1955 in Sanford. She was a graduate of Seminole High School Class of 1973. She was a member of Bethlehem House of Praise Church, Inc. and a retired bus driver for Seminole County Public Schools where she worked there for over 13 years. She was a lifelong resident of Sanford.

She is survived by her son, Bernard Eady, Jr. (Melinda); daughter, Monique Scott; brothers, Milton Smith, Jr. (Maxine), Robert L. Smith, Bernard Smith, Wonzell R. Britt, and Leonard Britt; aunt, Lucille Long; uncle, Troy Brown, and 5 grandchildren.

Sunrise Funeral Home, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.

LOIS CLARA FRASE

Lois Clara Frase, 79, of New Smyrna Beach, died Septtember 16, 2009 at Florida Hospital.

She was a homemaker and gardener and proud Navy wife. She was born in Dover, Del. And moved to New Smyrna Beach from Sanford.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Theodore G. Frase, Jr.; three sons, Theodore G. Frase III of Mystic, Conn., Torry H. Frase of Lake Mary and Fritz Frase of Edgewater; daughter, Teresa Gonzales of New Smyrna Beach; sisters, Dorothy Lewis of Lewes, Del. and Helen Sypherd of Norman, Okla.; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at noon at Dudley Edgewater Chapel in Edgewater with Chaplain Patrick Donaldson of Lake Mary officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Dudley Edgewater Chapel.

ANGEL LUIS RIVERA

Angel Luis Rivera, 54, went home to be with his Lord on September 15, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.

Angel was born in 1955 in Patillas, Puerto Rico to Luis and Josefina Rivera. He worked as a cable installer for Bright House Networks and was previously in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, target practice with his guns, was very handy with fixing things and carpentry, he was a jokester , loved cooking and doing missionary work in South America. Angel was an active member of the I.C.M. El Tabernaculo in Kissimmee.

Angel is survived by his wife, Claudina of Sanford; sons, Angel Luis Rivera, Jr., PR; and Angel Jason Rivera, Conn.; daughters, Liz Marie Reyes, PR; Lisandra Rivera, PR; brothers, Sammy and Roberto, both of N.Y.; sisters, Rosie Lopez, N.Y.; Evelyn Lopez, Fla.; Alma Santiago, Fla.; Lucy Rivera, N.Y.; mother, Josefina Rivera, Fla.; and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Luis Rivera.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Gramkow Funeral Home and a burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Sanford.

CHERYL ANN SMITH

Cheryl Ann Smith, 62, of DeLand, passed away on September 17, 2009 at Florida Hospital in DeLand.

She was born October 23, 1946 in Miami and moved to DeLand from Miami in 1955. She was a 1964 graduate of DeLand High School. Cheryl worked as a graphic artist for The Sanford Herald.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Jack; and her daughter Cynthia Shaw of Orange City.

THOMPSON

David Michael Thompson, 55 years of age, went home to be with his Lord and creator on September 12, 2009 at the Key Center Homes in Inverness.

David was born in 1954 to Thomas E. and Levelle Thompson in Orlando. David enjoyed bowling, fishing, basketball and swimming. He is survived by his mother Levelle Thompson, Sanford; brother, Cyrus W. Thompson, Panama City, and many other extended family members. His viewing was private for the family but the gathering and funeral was on September 15, 2009 at the Gramkow Funeral Home Chapel. He was laid to rest next to his father in Apopka.
