Mr. Davis was born December 2, 1935, the son of the late Edward Leon Davis. He was a lifetime resident of Sanford. Bill served his country with the United States Coast Guard for four years. Mr. Davis was Founder/Owner of Bill Davis Engineering, he enjoyed his work greatly. He was a member of the Palmetto Avenue Baptist Church, Sanford.
He is suvived by his mother Birdie Davis, his loving wife of 46 years Betty J. Davis, his son David (Nan) Davis of Orlando, his brother Dick (Yvonne) Davis of Sanford, and his sister Lynda (Steve) Stapp of Maitland. Mr. Davis is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Friends are invited to Gramkow Funeral Home Wednesday, April 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at the Palmetto Avenue Baptist Church, Sanford, with Rev. Ron Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
