Born in Sanford on March 3, 1934 to Alvin Paul Hittell and Louise Marie Kinard. She lived and raised her children in Lake Monroe, Fla. She was pre-deceased by her husband William Flowers in May 2009 and by a son, Tony Flowers, in November 2004 and a daughter, Susan Johnson in January 2010.
She is survived by her son, Sonny Flowers of Lake Monroe; daughters, Terry Lee of Lake Monroe and Angela Flowers of DeBary; brothers, Alvin (Slyvia) Hittell of Osteen and Robert (Barbara) Hittell of Leesburg; sister, Marjorie Smith of De Funiak Springs; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
Gramkow Funeral Home & Crematory, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.
