Grab the kids and some snacks, and let’s gather Friday night to watch Disney’s “UP” at Sanford’s free monthly Cinema in the Park. The animated movie is about Carl Fredricksen, who spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe, and now in his 78th year he launches his house into the sky via thousands of balloons.

Right after liftoff he discovers he has a stowaway. The journey takes you into a lost world with the least likely duo on Earth. The movie will be show at Park on Park at 8 p.m., or as soon as it’s dark enough for optimum viewing.
