Band leader Jeff Rupert heads Jazz studies at the University of Central Florida. With his outstanding reputation and the manner in which he captivates the audience, it's no surprise he is a long-time member of Sam Rivers' band, with a recent performance and recording at Lincoln Center, for Ed Bradley's Jazz from Lincoln Center broadcast on NPR. Jeff has been a featured soloist at the Chicago Blues festival, the Monterrey Jazz Festival, the Montreux Jazz festival, as well as numerous other festivals throughout the world.
Head to Magnolia Square from 4 – 7 p.m. as we celebrate another season of great Jazz.
