The diversity of costumes, the chance to take pictures with a favorite character or the chance to hold a light saber is always guaranteed fun. Park on Park is located at 8th Street and Park Avenue. • The Sanford Historic Trust has organized a tour to the Stetson Mansion in DeLand on Friday at 7 p.m. The tour will run for an hour and a half and the cost is $15.
The mansion is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and was designed by architect George T. Pearson in 1886. The Stetson mansion is an excellent example of high Victorian architecture and features a blend of cottage, gothic, Tudor, Moorish and Polynesian details.
