The diversity of costumes, the chance to take pictures with a favorite character or the chance to hold a light saber is always guaranteed fun. Park on Park is located at 8th Street and Park Avenue. Pack up the family and bring your blanket or favorite lawn chair for a great movie under the stars! The character meet and greet will begin at 7 p.m. and the movie at 8 p.m.
• The Sanford Historic Trust has organized a tour to the Stetson Mansion in DeLand on Friday at 7 p.m. The tour will run for an hour and a half and the cost is $15.
The mansion is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and was designed by architect George T. Pearson in 1886. The Stetson mansion is an excellent example of high Victorian architecture and features a blend of cottage, gothic, Tudor, Moorish and Polynesian details.

• The Sanlando Depression Glass Show will be back at the Sanford Civic Center beginning this Friday from 6 - 9 p.m.

• Register now for the Fall Baseball Instructional League for boys and girls ages 8 - 15. Registration will be at the following locations: Recreation Department at Sanford city hall from Monday to Friday at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Chase Park from Monday to Thursday at 4 to 7 p.m.
