Aggravated battery

• Police arrested a 28-year-old woman Saturday after they said she stabbed a woman multiple times during an argument.

Police said the women were drinking together at His and Hers Lounge when they decided to go to a friend’s home. On the way to the home the two began to fight and when they arrived the fight turned physical. Police said during the argument one woman pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman approximately 12 times.

Lasasha Nikole Charles was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 23-year-old man Sunday after they said he struck a woman in the face and would not let his child leave their apartment.

Police said the man also attempted to escape before they could make contact with him.

Jordan Tremaine Bernard was charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment and resisting an officer without violence. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Battery

• Police arrested a 27-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he pushed a woman onto a bed during an argument.

John Thomas Cullum, of S. Shirley Avenue, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 33-year-old Sanford man Friday after they said he slammed a woman on a bed.

Gerold Manderville was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 29-year-old man Saturday after they said he choked a woman and pushed her into a bathtub.

Bernnis Arturo Torres Sanchez was charged with domestic violence battery by strangulation and domestic violence battery. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 44-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he grabbed a woman’s arm and sprained her wrist.

Martin Ryan Brookins, of White Magnolia Way, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

DUI

• Police arrested a 19-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he was driving under influence of alcohol and drugs.

Police said they pulled the man over because he ran over a curb. When they made contact with the man, they said, he admitted to smoking marijuana and they could smell alcohol on him.

Albert George Champagne III, of Lakeview Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested a 37-year-old Sanford woman Aug. 23 after they said she stole a debit and credit card from her neighbor on Willner Circle and used them to make multiple purchases.

Police said they obtained surveillance video from where the cards were used and were able to identify the woman.

Michelle Maxine Montanez, of Willner Circle, was charged with larceny, larceny of a credit card, and illegal use of a credit cards. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 41-year-old Winter Springs man Saturday after they said he attempted to steal a hat and two pairs of shoes from Walmart on S. Orlando Drive.

Ted Sheldon Gethin Creamer, of Cherry Laurel Court, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 34-year-old Altamonte Springs man Sunday after they said he attempted to steal a drink from 7-Eleven on S. Orlando Drive.

Police said while searching for the stolen drink inside the man’s vehicle they also found a bag of marijuana.

Bernard Atkins Jr., of Basewood Lane, was charged with larceny and possession of marijuana under 20 grams. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 44-year-old Lake Mary man Thursday after they said he attempted to steal a shelf and bottle of conditioner from Walmart on S. Orlando Drive.

Kurt William Kruger, of Egrets Landing Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 35-year-old Casselberry woman Thursday after they said she attempted to steal a bathing suit, jeans and toilet paper from Walmart on S. Orlando Drive.

Tanya Lea Singh, of Wolf Trail, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 23-year-old woman and 22-year-old man Friday after they said the two attempted to steal video games from Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Autumn Charbonier, homeless, and Patrick Detamore, homeless, were charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 44-year-old Sanford woman Friday after they said she attempted to steal meat from Save-A-Lot on S. French Avenue.

Teresa Lynn Copney, of Laurel Avenue, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Disturbing the peace

• Police arrested a 51-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he was intoxicated and screaming in front of a residence on E. 9th Street.

Warnzell R. Britt, of E. 9th Street, was charged with disturbing the peace and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Disorderly conduct

• Police arrested a 52-year-old woman Friday after they said she created a disturbance at Red Lobster on Towne Center Boulevard and pushed a child in a stroller.

Police said the woman became upset when a mother sitting near her table shook a rattle at her child. Police said the woman told the mother to stop and then walked over and pushed the stroller with the baby sitting inside.

Nihal Mahmoud Hafez was charged with disorderly conduct and child cruelty without great bodily harm. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Obstruction of street

• Police arrested a 38-year-old Sanford woman Saturday after they said she was soliciting for money at the corner of S.R. 46 and Towne Center Boulevard without a permit.

Angel McManus, homeless, was charged with obstruction of a public street without a permit and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Suspended license

• Police arrested a 52-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he was driving with a suspended license on S.R. 417.

Jeffrey D. Hall, of Clear Lake Circle, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.

No license

• Police arrested a 21-year-old Sanford woman Saturday after they said she was driving without a valid license on U.S. 17-92.

Chartoniya Nicole Ward, of Myrtle Avenue, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Trespassing

• Police arrested a 30-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he trespassed at a business at 27th Street and French Avenue.

Police said when they made contact with the man he told them, “I know I’m trespassed from here, that’s why I have my hands behind my already.”

Willie James Blackman, homeless, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.
