YouthBuild supporters can purchase golf balls for a chance to win a prize package that will include a V.I.P. package to the City of Sanford’s July 4th event and other items.
Each golf ball is $5. A number will be assigned to each entry and on April 19th, a city of Sanford Fire Engine will be dropping all of the numbered golf balls on the field behind the Juvenile Enforcement Center.
The ball that lands in the specially designed hole will be the winner of the grand prize. Participants do not need to be present to win. Golf balls may be purchased by calling 407-708-7646.
“Sanford/Seminole County YouthBuild provides direction for at risk youth who have traveled down bumpy roads in life”, explains Director Jennifer Taylor.
Due to federal budget cuts, YouthBuild is seeking donations and sponsors to keep this program alive.
