Grand Reunion honors Crooms Academy student

SANFORD — The Crooms Academy of Information Technology, recently held the 2007-2008 awards night on Thursday, May 22nd.



The Alumni of the Crooms Grand Reunion for classes 1931-1970 voted at its celebration to give their support to a scholarship to be awarded to a deserving student of this great institution.

The Crooms Grand Reunion Scholarship Committee is proud to maintain and continue the legacy of a school that is rich in tradition, pride, and vision.

Amanda Olliverre, a graduating senior, was honored for her achievements by maintaining a 3.6 GPA.

She has been a standout volunteer for community service, thus she has set for herself a vision of a medical career for the future.

Chairman of the Crooms Grand Reunion Katheryn Alexander presented Olliverre the first annual scholarship of $1,000 for maintaining excellence in her high school education.
