“This is the second birth since the opening of the Horizon Homes of Central Florida Australia Exhibit in April 2005,” said Joe Montisano, CEO. “The joey has been ‘in-pouch’ for several months. During this time, zookeepers and guests could get a glimpse of the joey hanging a foot, ear or head out of the mother’s pouch. Recently, the joey has been staying out in the exhibit with the other kangaroos.”
