Stirling changes marketing and expands

LAKE MARY — Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty, Central Florida’s exclusive Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate plans to open at least eight and as many as 10 premier Real Estate Galleries in central Florida over the next two years.

Roger Soderstrom, founder and owner of the firm, said locations being considered for Real Estate Galleries include the east coast beach area from Melbourne north to St. Augustine including Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Palm Coast / Flagler Beach, as well as Ocala and Mount Dora to name a few.

Stirling, opened in 1989, currently operates Real Estate Galleries at Heathrow, Winter Park, Downtown Orlando, Dr. Phillips, MetroWest and Clermont.

A new Real Estate Gallery will open in March at Waterford Lakes in east Orlando.

Stirling launched an exclusive branding relationship with Sotheby’s International Realty in January.

In other news, Stirling International Realty, Inc. reported it sold Central Florida luxury homes and select commercial properties worth $1.034 billion in 2005.

“We have dramatically altered our approach to the market,” said Soderstrom. “The luxury homes market is changing and we are anticipating that evolution by expanding our scope and substantially strengthening our brand. Now we are exposed to a worldwide market,” he said.

Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty operates Real Estate Galleries at Heathrow, Winter Park, Downtown Orlando, Dr. Phillips, MetroWest and Clermont. The firm announced it will open a real estate gallery in east Orlando before spring.
