“The Sotheby’s alliance gives us worldwide brand identity,” said Roger Soderstrom, founder and owner of Stirling International Realty.
Founded in 1976, the Sotheby’s International Realty network serves an international client base of luxury homebuyers and sellers and provides local independent real estate firms with marketing and referral programs.
Soderstrom said the Sotheby’s alliance will increase Stirling’s brand image, provide more local, national and international marketing exposure, develop new sources for national and international lead generation and support Stirling’s high image advertising.
“The market for luxury homes is changing,” Soderstrom said. “We currently have nearly 500 properties for sale in Central Florida that are priced at more than $1 million and nearly 1,500 properties priced from $500,000 to $999,999. At the moment, there are not 2,000 luxury and estate home buyers in central Florida,” he added.
“We need to broaden our appeal to attract national and international buyers and our affiliation with Sotheby’s gives us a pipeline to a worldwide market,” he said.
Stirling reported sales of luxury homes and select commercial properties worth more than $1.034 billion in 2005, according to company statistics.
Stirling, which operates high-tech Real Estate Galleries at Heathrow, Winter Park, downtown Orlando, Dr. Phillips, MetroWest and Clermont, recently moved into its new 15,000 square foot corporate headquarters facility at Stirling Center in Lake Mary.
