The Lions had nine individual weight class champions, including win the seven heaviest classes, and scored 275 points to top Lake Mary (195) and Winter Springs (188.5).
Lyman (132), Lake Brantley (94), Lake Howell and Seminole (73 points each) and Hagerty (50) rounded out the standings.
Ryan Leatherman (103 pounds), Justin Tortora (125), Tyler Davis (145), Jake Schalles (152), Davin Morris (160), Brandon Hatchett (171), Anthony Salerno (189), Nic Chase (215) and Dustin Meloche (285) were the individual champions for Oviedo.
The Rams’ Andrew Sifakis was the only individual champion for Lake Mary, claiming the 119-pound class.
The Bears and Greyhounds trailed the Lions in individual champions with two title winners each.
Matt Nereim (125) and Morgan Beveridge (135) for Winter Springs and Quintin Mulligan (130) and Blake Mulligan (140) for Lyman.
Most of the district meets will be on Saturday, February 3, with Oviedo hosting DeLand, Deltona, Flagler Palm Coast, Lake Mary, Pine Ridge, Seminole and Winter Springs in Class 3A-District 2.
Lyman will be heading to Orlando for Class 3A-District 3, which will be hosted by Edgewater and also includes Apopka, Dr. Phillips, Olympia, Evans and West Orange.
Lake Brantley will also be in Orlando at Timber Creek as part of Class 3A-District 4 along with Boone, Colonial, Cypress Creek, Freedom, University and Winter Park.
Lake Howell will be the only team competing in Class 2A as part of District 6 which will be held at St. Cloud and will also include Celebration, Mainland, New Smyrna Beach and Seabreeze.
Hagerty will be competing in Class 1A-District 6 and the Huskies have a long trip to Zephyrhills where they will battle against Bishop Moore, Gulf (New Port Richey), Hudson, Jones, Lake Highland Prep, Pasco (Dade City) and Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel).
