• Police arrested a 30-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he pushed a woman during an argument.
Rafael Antonio Robert Collazo was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 60-year-old man Sunday after they said he threw a chair at his mother during an argument.
Police said when the mother told them the chair hit her the son said, “I didn’t throw it at you. I threw it at the ground and it hit you. You were just in the way.”
Edward William Johnson was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 24-year-old man Sunday after they said he grabbed one woman by the throat, pushed another to the ground and punched a man in the face.
Police said he entered a home through the window and began chasing a woman and grabbed her by the throat. Another woman in the home attempted to stop the fight and the man pushed her to the ground, police said. When a man stepped in. he was punched.
Jonathon Ellison was charged with domestic violence battery by strangulation and two counts of battery. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 37-year-old Sanford man Sept. 10 after they said he choked a woman.
Robert Earl Gray was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
DUI
• Police arrested a 51-year-old Sanford man Friday after they said he was driving under the influence of alcohol and fell asleep in the drive through of the El Pollo Loco restaurant on W.P. Ball Boulevard.
Police said the man failed all sobriety tests and said he was on his way home from the airport where he had drank “one beer.”
Timothy Johnson, of Retreat View Circle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Burglary
• Police arrested a 30-year-old woman Sunday after they said she broke into a home she was evicted from and took her belongings.
Police said the woman did not have permission to return to the residence and broke a sliding glass door to enter. Police also said the woman had her daughter with her when she committed the act.
Liznel Ortiz-Diaz was charged with burglary, property damage and child neglect without great harm. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Larceny
• Police arrested a 37-year-old man Friday after they said he attempted to steal four cans of Four Loco from the 7-Eleven on Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
Gregory Anthony Taylor, homeless, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 27-year-old Sanford woman Monday after they said she attempted to steal clothing from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Police said after the woman stole the items she attempted to return them for a cash refund. When police searched her vehicle they also found a prescription pill without a prescription.
Shana Lori Harbin, homeless, was charged with larceny, fraud and possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Suspended license
• Police arrested a 30-year-old Sanford man Friday after they said he was driving with a suspended license at 18th Street and French Avenue.
Police said they pulled the man over because he was speeding in a school zone.
Barry Jasin Miller, of W. 14th Street, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Drug possession
• Police arrested a 26-year-old Deltona man Saturday after they said he was in possession of marijuana.
Police said the man was sitting in his parked car on Pepperdine Lane and police could smell marijuana outside of the vehicle. When they searched, police said, they found a bag of marijuana in the car.
Andre Frederick Kelly, of Summit Hill Road, was charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams and issued a notice to appear in court.
• Police arrested a 41-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he was in possession of marijuana.
Police said the man was riding a bike after dark without lights. When police searched the man they found a small bag of marijuana inside a pack of cigarettes.
Kerry Lenard McKinney, of W. 12th Street, was charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Obstructing justice
• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford woman Sunday after they said she interrupted a traffic crash scene that police and fire officials were working at Academy Avenue and Airport Boulevard.
Police said they were attending to a victim of the crash when the woman walked behind crime scene tape and would not leave.
The woman told police her brother was the victim and refused to leave the area despite being asked multiple times.
Erica Traneisha Menefee, of Dunbar Avenue, was charged with obstructing justice and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Unlawful racing
• Police arrested a 33-year-old Deltona man after they said he was drag racing along U.S. 17-92 Saturday afternoon.
Erik Lawrence Thompson, of Cloverleaf Boulevard, was charged with participating in an unlawful race and taken to the Seminole County jail.
