• Police arrested a 21-year-old man Tuesday after police said he grabbed a pregnant woman’s neck during an argument.
Jonathan Vazquez Marrero was charged with aggravated battery, offender should have known victim was pregnant, and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 19-year-old woman Thursday after they said she punched, kicked, threw and bit another woman during an argument.
Kishiyana Twaysha Billington was charged with aggravated battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Battery
• Police arrested a 35-year-old man Wednesday after they said he threatened to break a woman’s jaw, grabbed her by the neck and would not let her call police.
Lataurus Tyron Davis was charged with domestic violence battery, false imprisonment and simple assault – intent to do harm. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 49-year-old man Thursday after they said he choked and hit a woman during an argument.
Gregory Allen Steele was charged with battery by strangulation and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Battery on officer
• Police arrested a 20-year-old Altamonte Springs man July 27 after they said he grabbed an officer’s arm and pushed him in the chest.
Police said the man was a patron at the Barn and would not leave when employees asked him. Police said the man then shoved an officer and would not comply when police attempted to arrest him.
Dakota Mercer, of Orienta Avenue, was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest without violence. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Aggravated assault
• Police arrested a 34-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he pointed a gun at a woman and threatened her after following her in his vehicle.
Police said the woman was in fear for her life because the man followed her into a parking lot after honking and following her closely in traffic. When police responded to the woman she was able to point out the car the man was driving as it drove past them. Police conducted a traffic stop and found a gun in the car and the woman confirmed the man driving was the one who had threatened her.
Carlton Waynel Manning, of El Portal Avenue, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and carrying a concealed weapon. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Burglary
• Police arrested a 41-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he entered a man’s home in the 7th block of Oak Avenue without permission.
Police said the victim heard a knock at his door and saw the man open the door and attempt to come inside. The victim told the man to leave several times, police said, and eventually the man walked off. When police found the man he claimed he thought the home was a museum.
Ricardo Rananier Taylor, of Academy Avenue, was charged with burglary of a dwelling and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Fraud
• Police arrested a 38-year-old Longwood man Wednesday after they said he sold a fake gold necklace to Gold King in the Seminole Towne Center for $1,080.
Police said the man first attempted to sell the necklace at another store, but was turned away after he was told the necklace was fake. When the man went to Gold King, he gave the employee a false name and address to sell the fake necklace. Police said when they interviewed the man he admitted he had taken the necklace from his cousin.
Darren Michael Mazur, of Summit Ridge Place, was charged with fraud verification of ownership to a 2nd-hand dealer, grand theft larceny, and fraud to obtain property. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Drug possession
• Police arrested a 27-year-old Sanford man and a 29-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said the two were in possession of drugs and ammunition during a traffic stop.
Police said the men were involved in another crime and were dropping off a rental car on S. Orlando Drive. When police searched the two men, they found marijuana and a bullet on one, and seven hydrocodone pills on the other.
Calvin Acree, of Magnolia Avenue, was charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon. David Graham, of Lake Avenue, was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Both were taken to the Seminole County jail.
DUI
• Police arrested a 44-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he hit another car while driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said the man rear-ended a woman near the entrance to Walmart on S. Orlando Drive and during the investigation the man admitted he had drank five beers and was drunk.
Donald Alexander Ernst, of W. Coleman Circle, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Suspended license
• Police arrested a 53-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he was driving with a suspended license at 13th Street and Elm Avenue.
Christopher Jospeh Allport, of Elm Avenue, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Larceny
• Police arrested a Deltona man and woman Tuesday after they said the two attempted to steal $641 worth of infant’s clothing and DVDs from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Ivan Antonio Bruno Conception, 33, of Seagate Drive, and Evelyn Eve Ramos, 32, of Alamanda Drive, were both charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 43-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he attempted to steal two electric razors from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Joseph Delroy Myers, of Cardinal Cove Circle, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 18-year-old Orlando man Wednesday after they said he attempted to steal men’s clothing from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
James M. Kaweski III, of Pissarro Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 28-year-old Apopka man and a 28-year-old Satsuma man Thursday after they said the two attempted to steal a television from Walmart on S. Orlando Drive.
Alfredo de Jesus Grullon, of Gail Street, was charged with larceny. Matthew Jospeh Whalen, of Lockwood Street, was charged with larceny and driving with a suspended license.
Trespassing
• Police arrested a 41-year-old Sanford man July 26 after they said he trespassed at a store on S. Orlando Drive only a half-an-hour after police told him he could not return.
Karl Anthionio Lawrence, homeless, was charged with trespassing after warning and taken to the Seminole County jail.
