Aggravated battery

• Police arrested a 18-year-old man Thursday after they said he struck another man in the face with a piece of metal, causing the man to lose consciousness.

Tyson Ray McIntosh was charged with aggravated battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Battery

• Police arrested a 20-year-old man and a 43-year-old man, both of Sanford, on Tuesday after they said the two hurt each other during an argument.

Police said a capias was issued for the 20-year-old after the older man told police he was punched in the mouth during an argument. When police found the younger man, he claimed the older man had grabbed him by the neck during the argument.

Frank Leroy Dixon and Alex B. Wynn, both of W. 10th Street, were charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old man Tuesday after they said he slapped his wife in the face at the Seminole Garden Apartments.

Darryl Levon Warren was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Burglary

• Police arrested a 45-year-old Orlando man Wednesday after they said he unlawfully entered his ex-girlfriend’s residence on Holloway Court.

Police said the man walked in the front door of the residence and slapped the woman’s new boyfriend in the buttocks, then fled the scene.

Felix G. White, of Bloomfield Drive, was charged with unarmed burglary of a dwelling and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Robbery

• Police arrested a 26-year-old Sanford woman Tuesday after they said she attempted to steal more than $300 in clothing from JC Penny at the Seminole Towne Center Mall.

Police said the woman hit three employees of the store as they were trying to recover the merchandise.

Tiffany Nicole Church, of S. Persimmon Avenue, was charged with robbery, resisting the recovery of merchandise and three counts of battery. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Suspended license

• Police arrested a 57-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he was driving at Airport Boulevard and 25th Street with a suspended license.

Milton Duhart, of S. Lake Avenue, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he was driving on Ridgewood Avenue with a suspended license.

Shaun Jacky Merrill, of Georgia Avenue, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Drug possession

• Police arrested a 49-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he was in possession of cocaine and a pipe.

Police said they stopped the man at 11th Street and Olive Avenue because he was riding a bicycle at night without lights. When police questioned the man he admitted to having a “stem” on him and later they found cocaine also.

Milton Leon Peoples, of Cedar Grove, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 35-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both of Sanford, on Thursday after they said the two were in possession of drugs.

Police said they found the two in a parking lot on W. Airport Boulevard and the man was injecting drugs while sitting his vehicle. Police said they found a baggie of cocaine on the man as well as a spoon and syringe. The woman admitted to having the prescription pills Xanax on her person.

Jill Alyssa Hussey, of Orange Drive, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Matthew J. Wilk, of Plumosa Drive, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. Both were taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested a 27-year-old man Tuesday after they said he stole a purse from a handicapped woman on S. Park Drive.

Police said the man pushed the woman’s wheelchair into her kitchen, where she could not move it, and took her purse from her home. When police found the man at another home, he said he had just been released from jail. When the owner of the home emptied the trash, he found the purse the man had stolen.

Richard C. McIntyre, of Grove Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 21-year-old Sanford woman after they said she attempted to steal a candy bar from a store on S. Orlando Drive.

Jennifer Loraine Plaza Rivera, of W. Airport Boulevard, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Property damage

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he broke the front door to Sammy’s Food Mart on S. French Avenue.

Police said the man was attempting to return merchandise and when an employee told him he would not get a refund the man begin throwing items in the store. Police said the employee attempted to lock the man in the store before police arrived, however the man shattered the glass of the front door and escaped.

Jerrell L. Lockhart, of Bob Thomas Circle, was charged with property damage and simple assault and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Trespassing

• Police arrested a 48-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he trespassed at the Race Trac on S. Orlando Drive.

David C. Gault, of S. Orlando Drive, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 21-year-old Sanford woman Sunday after they said she trespassed at the Chase Bank on S. Orlando Drive.

Michelle Renee Thatcher, homeless, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 49-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he was trespassing at the Sav-A-Lot on S. French Avenue.

John Michael Braddy, homeless, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Loitering

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he was sleeping in a vacant home on Country Club Circle.

Police said a witness reported the man and when they arrived to the vacant home they found him sleeping in a back bedroom. The man told police he had nowhere else to go.

Anthony James Serafin, homeless, was charged with loitering and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Disorderly intoxication

• Police arrested a 56-year-old Sanford woman Thursday after they said she was intoxicated inside the Subway on French Avenue and began yelling at customers.

Mary Louis Wood, homeless, was charged with disorderly intoxication and disturbing the peace and taken to the Seminole County jail.
