• Police arrested a 23-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he brandished a gun in front of The Wet Spot bar on Park Avenue.
Police said they heard an altercation in a parking lot across from the bar and when they pulled in, the man ran from police. Police were able to stop the man at which time they determined he had been carrying a gun and had been in an altercation with several other men from the bar. Witnesses told police he brandished the gun during an argument with the other males. Police said they also found pills on the man without a prescription.
Tyler Joseph Mixon was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, battery, possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon without a license, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting an officer without violence. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Battery
• Police arrested a 28-year-old Sanford woman Saturday after they said she hit her boyfriend twice in the face during an argument.
Police said the woman claimed the man was cocaine addict and could not be trusted. She also told police she had not done drugs since she was 18-years-old. Police said they were able to see cocaine in the woman’s nostril, at which point she admitted to using drugs in the last few hours.
Audra Leigh Osburn, of Hays Drive, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 36-year-old man Saturday after they said he grabbed another person by the neck during an argument.
Donald L. Neulander was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Aggravated assault
• Police arrested a 47-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he chased a tenant of his through their neighborhood with a machete.
The man said he chased the tenant because he was upset the tenant was selling drugs out of his home.
Abdias Guerrier, of Cypress Avenue, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Simple assault
• Police arrested a 29-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he swung at a woman after jumping into a car after her.
Charles Joshua Wright, of W. 13th Place, was charged with simple assault intent to do violence and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Burglary
• Police arrested two Sanford men Sunday after they said the two pulled a man out of his car on Pond Crest Lane, punched him and damaged and stole his property.
The victim told police the two men were waiting by the mailboxes in the neighborhood when they approached his vehicle and began punching him. The victim told police he ran home in order to avoid the fight.
Michael Upshire, 22, of Clydesdale Circle, was charged with burglary with assault or battery, property damage and larceny. Jamaal Justin Bradley Watson, 20, of Pond Crest Lane, was charged with battery, property damage and larceny. Both were taken to the Seminole County jail.
Larceny
• Police arrested a 36-year-old Oviedo man Saturday after they said he attempted to steal boxer shorts and a pair of coveralls from Walmart on S. Orlando Drive.
Rayfield Corneilus Daniels, of Fontana Circle, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 24-year-old Sanford woman July 3 after they said she attempted to steal almost $200 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Carrie Elizabeth Adams, of Elder Springs Circle, was charged with shoplifting and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford woman Sunday after they said she attempted to steal clothing from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Kimerly Nicle Hatfield, of Petunia Terrace, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 35-year-old Sanford woman Friday after they said she attempted to steal clothing from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Jennifer Arfman, of W. 13th Street, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 46-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he attempted to steal flea medication and socks from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Police said the man attempted to flee when an employee of the store tried to stop him. Police said he also ran from an officer on the scene.
James A. Goins, homeless, was charged with larceny, resisting recovery of property and resisting an officer without violence. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 18-year-old Niceville woman Monday after they said she attempted to steal razor refills and a book from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Beverly Francis Kennedy, of Carr Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Property damage
• Police arrested a 30-year-old Sanford woman Friday after they said she jumped on her boyfriend’s car, cracked the windshield and ripped off a windshield wiper.
Lasheena Jonville Perry, of Cedar Creek Circle, was charged with property damage and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Disorderly intoxication
• Police arrested a 29-year-old DeBary man Sunday after they said he was drunk and refused to follow the requests of officers.
Police said the man was involved in an altercation at the bar The Barn when police arrived. Police said the man attempted to walk away several times, then resisted police when they attempted to detain him. Police said the man eventually pushed an officer and slapped his hand away.
Christopher Alden Saxon, of Fort Florida Point Road, was charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting an officer without violence and battery on an officer. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Loitering
• Police arrested a 53-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he stole radiators from a business.
Police said the man could not tell officers where he stole the radiators from and was on probation for burglary of a structure.
Joseph Carlos Hersey, of W. 12th Street, was charged with loitering and taken to the Seminole County jail.
