Aggravated battery

• Police arrested a 36-year-old Sanford woman Sunday after they said she pushed and threatened a pregnant woman with a knife.

Ava Ceola Bouie, of Olive Avenue, was charged with aggravated battery when the offender should have known victim was pregnant and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Battery

Police arrested a 42-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he grabbed a woman’s neck during an argument about her cheating on him.

Police said the woman attempted to separate herself from the man by locking herself in a bedroom, but the man broke down the door.

Paul K. Johnson, of Rosecliff Circle, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 24-year-old Orange City man Thursday after they said he spit in a woman’s face during an argument.

Police said the two were arguing and the man began to throw things around their apartment and eventually threatened to kill the woman if she called the cops because he did not want to lose his job as a Volusia County deputy.

Michael Joseph Sawicki, of Saxon Trace Way, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 43-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he grabbed a woman’s hair and spit in her face.

Police said the man also grabbed the woman’s son and bit him.

Troy Grossman was charged with two counts of domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 32-year-old woman and 57-year-old woman, both of Sanford, Tuesday after they said the two grabbed and hit a man while he was visiting his child.

Police said the man had come to his ex-wife’s home to visit with his son and when he began to argue with his ex-wife, his mother-in-law grabbed his shirt and tried to throw him to the ground. He also told police his ex-wife began hitting him in the face.

Claudette Rambissoon and Gloria Rambissoon, both of Bradshaw Drive, were charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 36-year-old man June 30 after they said he put his hands around a pregnant woman’s neck and dragged her across a room.

Issac Blevins was charged with domestic violence battery by strangulation and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he punched a man in the chest.

Cameron Michael Bailey, of Krider Road, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

DUI

• Police arrested a 34-year-old Deltona man Thursday after they said he drove under the influence of alcohol and crashed into the round about at Park Avenue and Seminole Boulevard.

Police said witnesses told them the man had hit a yield sign before crashing the car. Police said the man continually apologized for being drunk and when they performed a search of the car they found multiple bags of marijuana.

Roberto Millan, of Lansfield Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, property damage, and two counts of possession of marijuana under 20 grams. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested a 21-year-old DeBary man and a 29-year-old Deltona man Monday after they said the two attempted to steal 57 Blu-ray movies from Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Police said an employee of the store attempted to stop the two, however the two fled on foot. Police were able to stop them at a nearby store.

Jared T. Lawrence, of Summerhaven Drive, and Milton L. Robles, of Howland Boulevard, were charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 19-year-old Deltona woman Thursday after they said she attempted to steal several items of clothing from JC Penney in the Seminole Towne Center.

Mayelin J. Ferrales-Perez, of Bavon Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Suspended license

• Police arrested a 41-year-old Casselberry man June 27 after they said he was driving with a suspended license and failed to obtain a Florida license after living in the state for more than a year.

Police said the man’s license from Colorado was suspended for failure to pay insurance.

Bryan Paul Portz, of Huntington Drive, was charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to obtain a Florida driver’s license.

• Police arrested a 20-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he admitted to police he had been driving and drinking, although his license was suspended and he was on probation.

Adam Mitchell Molinell, of S. Orlando Drive, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Resisting an officer

• Police arrested a 47-year-old man Thursday after they said he resisted the orders of a police officer during a disturbance on Palmetto Avenue.

Police said they were investigating a disturbance and the man continued to walk away and reach into his pockets, despite an officer’s orders not to do so. Police said they tried to handcuff the man for their safety, and the man began to resist by pulling away and pushing two officers on the scene.

Rafael Candelario was charged with resisting an officer with violence and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 46-year-old Sanford woman Tuesday after they said she would not give her information to police after they found her sleeping under a car at the Aristocrat Volkswagen.

Police said the woman refused to give her name and once they took her to jail she admitted she would not give her name because she wanted to be off the streets and in jail.

Elizabeth Lee Gordan, homeless, was charged with resisting an officer without violence and taken to the Seminole County jail.
