The proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 budget can be found on the city’s home page of Sanford’s website at www.sanfordfl.gov., also included on the home page is a schedule of upcoming meetings to review the proposed budget.
“Maintaining transparency to Sanford residents and the public at-large continues to be a high priority for the city”, said City Manager Norton Bonaparte Jr.
On Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 5:30 p.m. there will be a public presentation of the budget at city hall in the Commission Chambers, 300 N. Park Ave. At this meeting, the public will have an opportunity to review, comment, and ask questions regarding the FY 2013 budget.
Final approval by the city commission is scheduled for Sept. 24. The FY 2013 budget will take effect Oct. 1, 2012.

The service provides a confidential local ride and tow home from any bar or restaurant – free of charge – by calling 1-800-AAA-HELP (4357). Anyone, AAA member or not, can call for a Tow to Go ride, Wednesday through Saturday.
