The Planetarium at Seminole State College of Florida will entertain stargazers with “Skies Down Under: Southern Astronomy,” in July.

In “Skies Down Under,” the sky is set for Sydney, Australia. The show offers a tour of six to eight constellations that can be best viewed from Southern Hemisphere skies.

“Skies Down Under” will be presented from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on July 6, 7, 13 and 14.

Live public shows are presented at the planetarium every Friday and Saturday beginning at 8:30 p.m. The planetarium is located in B-117 on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. The planetarium does not take reservations.

Please note: The planetarium is closed July 20, 21, 27 and 28.

Prices are: Adults – $6; Seniors (55+) – $4; Non-Seminole State Students – $4; and Preschoolers – Free.

The planetarium is free for Seminole State students, faculty and staff with a valid Seminole State ID.
