The Voice: Seminole County Museum hosts folklore speaker

• Sanford native, Rosalie Wright Cook, will speak about local banks and folklore at the Seminole County Historical Museum on Saturday from 10 to 11:30am. Admission to the museum is $3 for adults, $1 for children and children under 4-years-old are free.

• The Morehouse College Glee Club from Atlanta will appear in a free concert on Friday at 7 p.m. at Seminole Community College’s Sanford/Lake Mary campus in the Concert Hall, Building G. For more information call Robin Parker at 407-708-2038.

• Bethlehem House of Praise Church presents its Mass Choir in concert on Sunday at 4 p.m. Come and enjoy an afternoon of praise and worship at the church’s new location at 2921 South Orlando Drive, Suite 240.

• Seminole Community College will recognize Student Achievement and African American month on Feb. 26 at its 16th annual Heritage Celebration. The program will be held in the Fine Arts Building located on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus at noon. Guest performers will be the Hamilton Elementary School Choir and Drumline under the direction of Anita Malcolm. The event is free and open to the public. For more information call 407-708-2670.
