Dr. E. Ann McGee, president of Seminole State College of Florida, recently returned from three weeks in Russia.

From April 4-18, McGee took part in the Fulbright Program Community College Administrator Seminar, which focuses on the role of community colleges in higher education and in the local community. Funded by an award from the State Department’s J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, the program includes an exchange of knowledge and best practices with Russian administrators in postsecondary education to lay the groundwork for institutional partnerships, faculty and student exchanges, and internships.

McGee’s itinerary included visits to Tula State University and Voronezh State University, both in Central Russia.

“The experience served to increase my dedication to international study opportunities for our faculty, staff and students,” McGee said.
