The Historic Welcome Center



The theme for this month's Art Walk is black and white. Cast a ballot for your favorite work of art. Voting will begin at 6 p.m. and will close at 8:30 p.m. Do you agree with the judges' choice for “Best in Show?” Don't miss the presentation of the People's Choice Award at 8:45 p.m.



The Sanford Flower Shop



Just around the corner on Commercial Street, The Sanford Flower Show will feature the work of Nancy Hanson in her latest show “Just Say It.”

The Hyder Gallery



Back on 1st Street, The Hyder Gallery Center for Finer Art will feature their artist of the month, Reg Garner. Gardner will be present for a meet and greet and to discuss his work. The Gallery on First will host the opening of watercolorist Stewart Jones' show “A New Beginning.” Take this opportunity to meet and greet Jones as he unveils his latest collection. Jeanine Taylor Folk Art



Jeanine Taylor Folk Art will feature the opening of Matt Sesow's latest show. Sesow's exhibit “From the Gut” is a compilation of his most popular painting themes over his 17-year career.

Pop Up Gallery



Mixed-media artist, Cherie Dacko has temporarily taken over the Mosaic Station on Palmetto Avenue and opened a pop-up gallery in her vision. Joe Rosier at the Princess Theatre



Joe Rosier will perform two shows this week at The Princess Theatre. On Friday, Rosier will reflect upon the life and times of Robert E. Lee in his unique show “Robert E. Lee: Confederate General.” This impeccably researched performance will illuminate many fascinating aspects of Lee's military career, his decision to lead the South and his subsequent presidency of Washington College in Virginia.

The next night Rosier will perform in “An Evening with Ulysses S. Grant.” Set in Sanford in 1880 for the groundbreaking of the Mid-Florida Railway during Grant's visit, this show will touch upon Lee's military career, his relationship with General Lee, and his post-war years.

Seminole's Got Talent



This Saturday at 7:30 p.m. the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center presents Seminole's Got Talent.
