The Oviedo Preservation Project (TOPP) is conducting its second annual Historic Oviedo Walking Tour and Breakfast on Feb. 19 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., beginning at 263 King St. (First United Methodist Church).

The pancake and egg breakfast is from 8 to 10:45 a.m. The tour runs every 15 minutes with a distance of less than a mile. Families, history buffs, Boy and Girl Scout troops are encouraged to attend to learn about Oviedo’s history and historic structures. Boy and Girl Scouts can earn a patch, which is sold on site.

This is a free event, but donations are greatly appreciated. All of the profits will help feed the hungry and educate students about local history. Publix Super Markets Charities and the Oviedo/Winter Springs Optimist Club are helping support the event.
