The Sanford River Rats got a huge boost on Sunday from Josh Strawn as the righthander had another strong start as the locals bounced back after being swept by the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs on Saturday with a 6-2 victory over the homestanding Leesburg Lightning at Pat Thomas Stadium. After winning 15-of-16 games just prior to the All-Star Break and taking over the league lead, the Rats had lost 4-of-5 starts, including three games to the Diamond Dawgs, before righting the ship against Leesburg.
