He was born December 19, 1941 in Dunbar, W.V. He was an automobile mechanic and he specialized in automobile transmissions. He owned and operated Scott’s Transmission in Maitland for 8 years and later worked at Randy’s Automotives in Sanford for more than 10 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved and enjoyed fishing and golfing.
He is survived by his children, Corrine Hensen, Scotty Hensen, and Lori L. Hippelheuser (Tom); one grandson, and one great-grandchild; sisters, Carol Caldwell and Barbara Octeau; and brother, Julian McCoy (Felicia).
