She was a lifelong Sanford resident and a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Kent C. Scott and Dorrance Rey Scott, both of Sanford; daughter, Ebony S. Hampton of Sanford; brothers, Zed (Clontha) Hampton of Denver, Colo., Harrell (Pharistine) Hampton of Daytona Beach, Benjamin Hampton of Sanford and St. Patrick Hampton of Sanford; sisters, Delores H. (Tracy) Cash, Betty (Johnny) Johnson, and Mae Hampton, all of Sanford.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 15 at 1 p.m. at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church with Host Pastor Valarie J. Houston and Dr. Ronald W. Merthie delivering the eulogy.
Wilson-Eichelberger Mortuary, Sanford, is in charge of all arrangements.
