She was born in Monticello, Fla. and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Pauline Brown of Sanford; granddaughters, Sylvia Foster, Vanessa Lee, Sonya Freeman, Rhonda People and Robin People, all of Sanford; grandson, Robert People III of Sanford; 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wilson Eichelberger Mortuary in Sanford. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Brinson delivering the eulogy and Rev. Jack Jackson, Pastor, officiating.
