Aggravated battery

• Police arrested a 52-year-old man Friday after they said he pushed a 74-year-old woman and threatened to break things in her home.

Allen Henderson was charged with aggravated battery on a person 65-years-of-age or older and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested two women Saturday after they said the two were in an argument with a cashier at Beauty Zone on S. French Avenue and attempted to steal merchandise.

Police said the women were trying to return items purchased earlier in the day and when the cashier would not take back two of the items, the women left and one stole an item on her way out. When the cashier followed the women to their car police said the driver of the vehicle accelerated while the cashier was standing next to an open door, causing her to fall and be run over by the vehicle.

Jasmine R. Tucker, 21, was charged with aggravated battery and Juvanda R. Lockhart, 21, was charged with larceny and culpable negligence. Both were taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 23-year-old man Aug 23 after they said he shot a woman in the hand during a gathering in the Washington Oaks neighborhood.

Police said the woman and a friend were visiting other friends in the neighborhood when a man pulled out a gun and pointed it at them. Thinking the man was joking another man attempted to push the gun away, however the man with the gun began shooting. The woman and man attempted to flee in a vehicle but later realized she was shot in the hand. She was able to identify the man for police in a line-up after the attack.

Quandiries D. Collier was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Battery

• Police arrested two sisters from Sanford after they said the two attacked a man and woman as they were by their car at Avocado Avenue and 7th Street.

Police said the man had gone to visit his uncle and left the woman in his car out front. Shortly thereafter, he told police, the two sisters began attacking the car, him, and later the woman inside the car when she attempted to break the fight up.

Redonda Scott, 24, of Windridge Circle, and Revonda Scott, 27, of San Lanta Circle, were both charged with domestic violence battery and battery. They were taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 33-year-old woman Saturday after they said she repeatedly slapped her husband in the back of the head for no reason.

Sylvia Sermon was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 18-year-old Sanford woman Thursday after they said she hit a woman in the face on Tinley Terrace.

Police said the woman immediately admitted to hitting the other woman saying, “Yes I snapped and hit her cause she made me mad. Cause I have an anger issue.”

Amanda Lynn Uliasz, of Tinley Terrace, was charged with battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 46-year-old man Tuesday after they said he beat a woman with a shoe, choked her, then threatened her and another woman with a knife.

Anthony Maurice Clark was charged with domestic violence battery by strangulation and two counts of aggravated assault. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 32-year-old man Thursday after they said he choked a woman during an argument.

Richard Gerarld Owen was charged with domestic violence battery by strangulation and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 42-year-old man Friday after they said he punched a woman in the arm.

Willie Moses Thomas Jr. was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Vehicle theft

• Police arrested a 19-year-old Sanford man Aug. 19 after they said he stole a car, pointed a gun at a woman and tried to run from police.

Police said a woman on Mellonville Avenue said the man had pulled up in a car beside her and pointed a gun at her. When police located the vehicle they realized it was stolen out of Volusia County and after they attempted to stop the vehicle the driver attempted to elude them. When the car did stop two men inside attempted to run from police and were later apprehended. Police said the men also ran over several plants at a residence during the chase.

Alfred Junior Willingham, of E. 7th Street, was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing or eluding police, resisting an officer without violence, property damage and driving without a valid license. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

DUI

• Police arrested a 35-year-old Chuluota man Friday after they said he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police said they were conducting a traffic enforcement operation for Labor Day weekend when they caught the man.

Michael Patrick Snow, of E. 5th Street, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested a 51-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he attempted to steal beer from a 7-Eleven on Ronald Reagan Boulevard after he had been trespassed from the store.

Karl Anthionio Lawrence, homeless, was charged with larceny, trespassing after a warning, and disorderly intoxication. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Property damage

• Police arrested a 19-year-old Lake Mary woman Sunday after they said she threw a rock through a window on Sabal Palm Court.

Molly Louise Denton, of Oak Leaf Circle, was charged with property damage and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Resisting an officer

• Police arrested a 23-year-old Sanford man Friday after they said he interfered with an investigation by not giving police his name after he was witness to a crash.

Tramaine Kinney, of Mara Court, was charged with resisting an officer without violence and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Disorderly intoxication

• Police arrested a 44-year-old Maitland man Monday after they said he was drunk on a LYNX bus and would not leave when the driver asked him to.

Police said the man was lying on the floor of the bus and would not get up. When they escorted him off the bus he told police, “Don’t worry about it,” and police later found an open vodka bottle on the man.

Richard Glenn Jenks Jr., of Park Lane Circle, was charged with disorderly intoxication and possession of an open container of alcohol.

Open container

• Police arrested a 37-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he was in possession of an open container of alcohol on Ronald Reagan Boulevard.

Gregory Anthony Taylor, homeless, was charged with possession of an open container of alcohol and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Trespassing

• Police arrested a 41-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he trespassed at Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Larry L. Lee, of S. Oregon Avenue, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.
