Battery

• Police arrested a 41-year-old man Sept. 11 after they said he hit a woman and would not let her leave their home.

Marc Paul Tamulynas was charged with domestic violence battery and false imprisonment. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 69-year-old DeBary man Thursday after they said he sexually assaulted several nurses while receiving care at the Central Florida Regional Hospital.

Police said several nurses said the man had groped their breasts and grabbed them while they were trying to administer care to the man. The man denied all allegations.

Jesus Efrend Marques Veglio, of Deleon Road, was charged with two counts battery on a medical care provider and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old DeLand woman Friday after they said she slapped a man several times during an argument.

Chrystal Sheree Woodard, of S. Thompson Avenue, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 59-year-old man Thursday after they said he threw a woman against a window, causing it to shatter.

James Harper was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Aggravated assault

• Police arrested a 31-year-old Sanford woman Tuesday after they said she hit her girlfriend in the café several times and pulled a knife on her.

Police said the woman was very intoxicated and the girlfriend feared the woman would stab her.

Delcia Torres was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence battery. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 37-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he slapped a man and cut him with a box cutter.

Police said the victim was drinking with the man when the man because angry and slapped and cut the victim. The victim police he was able to escape further injuries because of his reflexes.

William Joseph Rosetter, homeless, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old man Thursday after they said he threatened to kill another man and picked two shovels and charged the man.

Micah Jamal Troutman was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Robbery

• Police arrested a 29-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he robbed a man of $20 near the Fountain Lodge on S. Orlando Drive.

Police said the victims told them he was walking on Orlando Drive when a man approached them and asked for their money. The victim told police the man then walked into a room in the Fountain Lodge with $20 they had given him. When police made contact with the man at the lodge he said the two victims had attempted to purchase crack cocaine from him for $20 but were unsatisfied with the amount they received. The man told police the victims had threatened to call police.

Dustin Lumb, of S. Orlando Drive, was charged with robbery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Drug possession

• Police arrested a 30-year-old Casselberry man Tuesday after they said he was in possession of crack cocaine and a pipe.

Police said they stopped the man’s vehicle at 25th Street and Hartwell Avenue because he ran a red light. When the man consented to a search police found the drugs and pipe.

Andre Luis Galarza, of Suncrest Loop, was charged with possession of a cocaine and drug equipment possession. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 21-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he was in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana.

Police said they stopped the man because the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen. When police saw the man exit the car they observed baggies of crack cocaine and marijuana on his person. They also discovered he had a suspended license. Police said the car was not stolen because the man who filed the report admitted to lying.

Darren Thompson, of W. 17th Street, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and driving with a suspended license. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

False report

• Police arrested a 50-year-old Pennsylvania man Wednesday after they said he made a false report to police about a stolen vehicle.

Police said the man told them his friend’s vehicle had been stolen. When police contacted the man’s friend she said she had lent to the car to the man and hadn’t seen it. Police said when they made contact with the man he admitted to making a false report and said he actually traded the vehicle with a prostitute for an “unknown item.”

John Szewczuk, of Ardmore, was charged with making a false report to law enforcement and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Trespassing

• Police arrested a 43-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he trespassed at Don Pablos on Towne Center Boulevard.

Police said they trespassed the man twice from the location and the man continued to panhandle there.

Erik Berry Nelson, homeless, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 48-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he was trespassing at McDonalds on S. French Avenue.

Larry Donnell Frederick, of Pecan Avenue, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested 29-year-old Sanford woman Tuesday after they said she attempted to steal a lighter from the Kangaroo on S. French Avenue.

When police found the woman nearby she told them, “I was told to steal the lighters by a friend that I was in the store with.”

Marthia Diane Kendrick, of W. 5th Street, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Suspended license

• Police arrested a 31-year-old Geneva man Tuesday after they said he was driving without a license.

Police said they pulled the man’s truck over because it had been reported stolen. During the traffic stop they discovered the man’s license was suspended and police said there was an open container of beer in the cup holder of the vehicle. The woman who had reported the truck stolen said the man was her friend and she had panicked when she exited the store and did not see him or the truck.

Christopher Shane Holton, of E. S.R. 46, was charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of an open container in a motor vehicle. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 34-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he was driving on Elm Avenue with a suspended license.

Police said they stopped the man because he ran a stop sign.

Damien Alexander Brown, of Hidden Lake Drive, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.
