• Police arrested a 55-year-old man Monday after they said he hit a woman in the head multiple times and would not allow her to call 911.
Wayne Lysander Moran was charged with domestic violence aggravated battery on a person 65 or older and obstruction of justice. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Battery
• Police arrested a 56-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he pushed a woman in the stomach.
Andrew Payson Butler was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 28-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he hit a woman in the head during an argument.
Moises Olvera was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
DUI
• Police arrested a 26-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he was driving while under the influence of alcohol on Airport Boulevard.
Police said the man almost hit a police vehicle twice and then ran a red light. The man told police he was just trying to get home because he knew he had drank too much and shouldn’t be driving.
Lucious Lenorrise Brown II, of Cardinal Cove Circle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 61-year-old Sanford man Saturday after they said he crashed into a home on Bristol Circle while driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said the man told them he “caught a flat” and driving into the home was the only way to stop the vehicle.
Thomas Ray Watson, of N. Somerset Court, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and property damage. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 37-year-old Geneva man Saturday after they said he was driving under the influence of alcohol on U.S. 17-92.
Police said the man could not maintain a single lane while driving and fell asleep in the back of the patrol vehicle on the way to jail.
Dustin Patrick Marlow, of Retreat Road, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 21-year-old Deltona man Monday after they said he was driving under the influence of alcohol on S. French Avenue.
Police said the man called 911 multiple times and eventually met police at a Kangaroo Express on French Avenue. Police said they watched the man pull into the parking lot and then discovered he was intoxicated.
Reynier Perez, of Sumatra Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Larceny
• Police arrested a 45-year-old Apopka man Sunday after they said he was loitering behind Lowes and attempted to steal pallets from the property.
Police said the man was planning to take every pallet from in back of the store and told police that the store manager had given him permission to do so.
Keith Lorenzo Hardwick, of W. 16th Street, was charged with larceny – grand theft and loitering. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 27-year-old Orange City woman Monday after they said she attempted to steal men’s clothing and makeup from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Falon M. Richards, of 17th Street, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
False identification
• Police arrested a 20-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he attempted to give the wrong name to police.
Police said they responded to a fight on Magnolia Avenue and the man was trying to escape out of the back door of a home. When police attempted to identify the man he gave his brother’s name and would not cooperate with officers. An officer was able to identify the man, however police said the man was very hostile throughout the process.
Joshua Louis Lathan, of Skoen Court, was charged with use of false identification and resisting an officer without violence. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Disorderly intoxication
• Police arrested a 29-year-old Sanford woman Sunday after they said she was intoxicated and creating a scene when her child’s father would not let her breast feed her child.
Police said because the woman was intoxicated and attempted to take her 3-month-old child she was putting the baby in danger.
Savitri Samlal, of Hartwell Avenue, was charged with disorderly intoxication and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Trespassing
• Police arrested a 45-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he was trespassing at the 7-Eleven at N. French Avenue.
Police said the man was drunk on the property and had been trespassed from the area before.
Tony Warren Smith, homeless, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Incidents
• A 19-year-old Lake Mary man told police Friday he was robbed a gunpoint behind a store in the 19th block of French Avenue.
• A 20-year-old Sanford man told police Saturday he was robbed at gunpoint between two buildings on Fox. Quarry Lake.
The man told police the two suspects stole his backpack with items valued at $667.
