Aggravated assault

• Police arrested a 65-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he pulled a handgun on a woman during an argument in their home.

James Lawrence Triplett, of Celery Avenue, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to the Seminole County jail.

DUI

• Police arrested a 25-year-old Sanford man Friday after they said he was driving under the influence of alcohol on 25th Street.

Police said a witness called in the driver because he hit three fence posts in McKibbon Park on 25th Street. When police pulled over the man they said he was intoxicated and also had cocaine on his person.

Alejandro Malagon Guerrero, of Hartwell Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, hit-and-run with property damage, and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested a 20-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he attempted to steal a pellet gun and a knife from Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Alvin Rafael Medina-Torres, of Empire Place, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 33-year-old Orlando man Wednesday after they said he attempted to steal a blueberry pound cake from 7-Eleven on S. Orlando Drive.

Brian Lakeece Newton, of W. Kaley Street, was charged with larceny and issued a notice to appear in court.

• Police arrested a 18-year-old Sanford woman Wednesday after they said she attempted to steal cosmetics and food from Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Kayla K. Ordonez, of Loch Low Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 25-year-old Sanford woman Wednesday after they said she attempted to steal various electronic items and cosmetics from Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Madeline Medina, of Loch Low Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Casselberry woman Wednesday after they said she attempted to steal a bra and baby’s clothing from Walmart on S. Orlando Drive.

Michelle Lei Everett, of Conch Shell Lane, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Golf Breeze man Thursday after they said he attempted to steal a pair of socks and a sweater from Bealls in the Seminole Towne Center.

Joseph Brazzell, of Golf Pint Street, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Fraud

• Police arrested a 23-year-old Longwood man Thursday after they said he gave a false name to police officers.

Police said the man gave a false name and when he admitted his real name they discovered he had a warrant in Seminole County for driving on a suspended license. Police said they also found marijuana on the man.

Juan Jose Ochoa, of E. Warran Avenue, was charged with fraud – giving false identification to a law enforcement officer and possession of marijuana under 20 grams. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Drug possession

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they he was in possession of marijuana in the Lake Jennie Apartments.

Police said they caught the man while he was rolling a marijuana cigar.

Antonio D. Miles, of Country Club Road, was charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams and issued a notice to appear in court.

Alcohol possession

• Police arrested a 20-year-old Orlando woman Thursday after they said she was in possession of alcohol at The Barn on S. French Street.

Kayla Michelle Faulk, of 8th Street, was charged with possession of alcohol by a person under 21. She was issued a notice to appear in court.

Trespassing

• Police arrested a 37-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he snuck into a woman’s home and hid under a bed with a baseball bat and knife.

Police said the woman’s son could smell the man in the home because he often smelled like alcohol. When the woman found the man she notified police and told them she also had an injunction against the man.

Kelvin Edward Jones, of Mara Court, was charged with trespassed and violation of an injunction. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 46-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he was trespassing at the Cash America Pawn Shop on S. French Avenue.

Police said the man had been trespassed from the property the day before but claimed he forgot.

Carl Alvin Jones, homeless, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Open container

• Police arrested a 23-year-old Orlando man Friday after they said he was in possession of an open container of alcohol near the parking lot of The Barn.

Nicholas Daniel Nowlan, of Conroy Road, was charged with possession of an open container of alcohol and issued a notice to appear in court.
