• Police arrested a 20-year-old woman Tuesday after they said she punched another woman in the face, hit her with a baseball bat and then damaged her vehicle.
Police said the victim was sitting in her car when the woman and her sister approached her. The victim told police the woman punched her in her face and when she got out the car, the woman took a baseball bat and hit her in the head. The victim told police the woman then used the baseball bat to break the windows and side mirrors on the vehicle .
Teneque S. Kennon was charged with aggravated battery, property damage, and battery. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 40-year-old man Friday after they said he stabbed another man in the ear on Park Avenue.
Police said a group of people were walking back to their cars from a bar in the area when the man approached them on a bike and began to make vulgar statements. A man in the group attempted to intervene and that’s when witnesses said the man on the bike charged him with a knife and stabbed him in the ear. The man on the bike claimed he did it because he thought he was about to be “jumped.”
Robert Gallagher was charged with aggravated battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Battery
• Police arrested a 28-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he harassed his female neighbor and threw and child’s backpack at her on Laurel Avenue.
Police said the man had been bothering the neighbor over the past weeks because he believed she had reported him to child protective services, causing him to lose the child. Police said the man told the woman, “Your day is coming” and threw the child’s backpack at her, striking her in the arm.
Phillip Randy Snelgrove, of S. Park Drive, was charged with battery and simple assault, threat to do violence, and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 18-year-old Sanford man May 30 after they said he punched a girl in the face at Seminole High School because she did not have the $8 she owed him.
Police said the victim claimed after the boy punched her he said, “Thanks for not having my money and trying to get your cousin after me,” and walked off.
Demetrius Clayton, of 126 Meadows Boulevard, was charged with battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 26-year-old Sanford woman Thursday after they said she went after her boyfriend with a knife and bit him.
Shauntrella Daniellemonique Hall, of W. 15th Street, was charged with domestic violence battery and assault with a deadly weapon. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he came after his girlfriend with a knife, took her cell phone and broke her personal belongings.
Tavis Arension Chanda Bryant, of Hartwell Avenue, was charged with domestic violence battery, larceny, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and obstructing justice. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 20-year-old man Wednesday after they said he punched his girlfriend in the face several times and would not allow her to leave their hotel room at the Fountain Lodge Motel.
Justin James was charged with battery and false imprisonment and taken to the Seminole County jail.
DUI
• Police arrested a 48-year-old Sanford woman Thursday after they said she was driving while under the influence of alcohol and had a suspended license.
Police said they found the woman when she pulled through two front yards on Summerlin Avenue. The woman told police she had just had her license taken away and did not know where she lived.
Pamela Dee Neighbor, of S.R. 46, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 59-year-old Longwood man Thursday after they said he was driving while intoxicated and would not stop for police.
Police said the man was driving with one flat tire and would not stop when police tried to pull him over. Police said the man hit a puddle of water he lost control of the car and crashed.
Latteney Scott Swift, of White Pine Lane, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and fleeing from police. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
Burglary
• Police arrested a 47-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he attempted to steal a lawn edger and trimmer from the garage of a home on W. 12th Street.
Police said the owner confronted him when he attempted to take the items and the man walked away and got into a vehicle. Police were able to provide the owner a photo line-up and he identified the man.
Tommy Russell Gatlin, of Clydesdale Circle, was charged with burglary and larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
Larceny
• Police arrested a 40-year-old Sanford woman Tuesday after they said she attempted to steal several items from 7-Eleven on S. Orlando Drive.
Rose Julia Rivera, of W. Airport Boulevard, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.
• Police arrested a 37-year-old man Tuesday after they said he tried to steal numerous items, including medical test strips and ink cartridges from Walmart on Rinehart Road.
Jason James Pelleteri was charged with larceny and possession of an anti-shoplifting control devise. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.
