Aggravated battery

• Police arrested a 44-year-old woman Thursday after they said she hit a man with a pipe on his arm during an argument.

Latesia Watson was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Battery

• Police arrested a 21-year-old Sanford man Tuesday after they said he grabbed and hit a woman while walking on Ridgewood Avenue.

Police said a witness to the incident called police, however the woman would not give a statement.

Brandon Maurice Long, of Cedar Creek Circle, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 45-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he entered a woman’s tent off of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and slapped her face repeatedly.

Police said the woman claimed the man did this while she was sleeping, then fell asleep in her tent.

David Wayne Hammack, homeless, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he pushed a woman during an argument.

Police said when they spoke with the man he said, “She got into my face, so I pushed her back.”

Jeremy Landrau, of Maybeck Court, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 19-year-old Orlando woman Wednesday after they said she pulled a man’s hair and then bumped him with her car.

Police said the two were meeting to do a child exchange when they got into an argument. The woman admitted to police that she pulled the man’s hair and bumped him with her car, causing him to fall.

Myriah Castano, of Grand Brook Circle, was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 50-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he grabbed a coworker by the throat.

Calvin Thompkins, of Casa Marina Place, was charged with battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested a 19-year-old Sanford woman Tuesday after they said she stole cosmetics, sunglasses and various other items from Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Gina M. Maldonado, of Cypress Avenue, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 40-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he attempted to steal a baby monitor from Walmart on Rinehart Road.

Police said although the man was able to leave the store they later found him driving on S.R. 46.

Ronald N. Cofield, of Hartwell Avenue, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Drug possession

• Police arrested a 43-year-old Sanford man Thursday after they said he was in possession of marijuana.

Police said they found the man parked in a driveway on Iroquois Avenue after responding to a person with a warrant at the same address. Although the person with the warrant ran from the officer, police said they observed the second man with a marijuana cigar in his vehicle.

Alvin Alexander, of Pine Avenue, was charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Trespassing

• Police arrested a 44-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he entered a woman’s home on Sanford Avenue without permission.

Police said the woman had previously trespassed the man from the property and did not allow him to come inside. The man told police he lived at the residence, but could not provide any proof.

Robert Eugene People, of W. 9th Street, was charged with trespassing in an occupied structure and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 48-year-old Sanford man Wednesday after they said he trespassed at a 7-Eleven on French Avenue.

Police said the man had been previously trespassed from the location and was harassing customers.

Larry Darnell Fredrick, homeless, was charged with trespassing and taken to the Seminole County jail.
