Aggravated battery

• Police arrested a 21-year-old man Saturday after they said he dragged a pregnant woman into her home and punched her repeatedly in the head.

Bernard Williams was charged with aggravated battery – offender should have known victim was pregnant – and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Battery

• Police arrested a 25-year-old man Sunday after they said he pushed a woman to the ground and choked her.

Eduardo Rodriguez-Bautista was charged with domestic violence battery by strangulation and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 40-year-old man Saturday after they said he punched a woman in the shoulder.

Tommy Smith Lewis was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 57-year-old man Friday after they said he slammed a screen door into a woman’s arm.

Joel Cashion was charged with domestic violence battery and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Drug possession

• Police arrested a 35-year-old Sanford man Sunday after they said he was in possession of a pipe and crack cocaine at the Valero gas station at Hartwell Avenue and 25th Street.

Police said the man hid something in between two milk crates at the station and when they looked police found a crack pipe with crack cocaine inside of it. The man told police, “I was trying to hide my crack pipe for the lady who was sitting on the milk crate.”

Herbert Mark Siller, of S. Park Avenue, was charged with cocaine possession with intent to sell and drug equipment possession. He was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Suspended license

• Police arrested a 30-year-old Sanford man Monday after they said he was driving with a suspended license.

Police said the man crashed his vehicle at 18th Street and Sanford Avenue and attempted to run from the scene because he knew his license was suspended.

Cedric Pernell Jackson, of McKinley Lane, was charged with driving with a suspended license and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 28-year-old Sanford woman Monday after they said she was driving with a suspended license.

Police said they attempted to pull the woman over near Mangoustine Avenue and Main Street however she would not stop. Police said when the woman finally stopped for police she said she was worried about getting towed.

Shirletta Vontrice Blake, of Bob Thomas Circle, was charged with driving with a suspended license and resisting an officer without violence. She was taken to the Seminole County jail.

Larceny

• Police arrested a 18-year-old Lake Mary woman Friday after they said she attempted to steal more than $80 in merchandise from the Seminole Towne Center mall.

Christine Carvalho Carlson, of Amethyst Way, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

• Police arrested a 40-year-old Sanford man Friday after they said he attempted to steal a bicycle from Walmart on S. Orlando Drive.

Michael William Cull, of Wilson Place Drive, was charged with larceny and taken to the Seminole County jail.

Disorderly intoxication

• Police arrested a 58-year-old man Friday after they said he was intoxicated and screaming at people at 3rd Street and Palmetto Avenue.

Police said the man fell off of his bicycle and would not cooperate with police when they attempted to speak with him.

Darris Quinn, homeless, was charged with disorderly intoxication and taken to the Seminole County jail.
