The stern paddle wheel boat, ‘Barbara Lee’ is making its way from Clearwater to Sanford.
The St. Johns Rivership Company recently announced it will bring dinner cruises back to Sanford. The company has purchased a boat in Clearwater and is currently headed to Sanford.

The stern paddle wheel boat “Barbara Lee” is expected to make a 7 to 10 day journey to Sanford.
Although work needs to be done on the boat, company representatives have indicated they anticipate formal cruise service to begin by late October or early November. Owners of the St. Johns Rivership Company could not be reached Tuesday for comment.
They will occupy the space at Monroe Harbour Marina that was formerly held by Rivership Romance. The Rivership Romance closed about a year ago after offering lunch and dinner cruises out of Sanford’s marina for many years.
