The Sanford Historic Trust will be holding its annual awards ceremony Tuesday, May 6 at Bettye D. Smith Cultural Center, located at 119 W. 5th Street.
Starting at 7 p.m., the 2008 Sanford Historic Trust Preservation Awards ceremony will begin with a short presentation on “Vanished Sanford” given by Christine Dalton, followed by the award presentations and light refreshments. The event is open to the general public and there is no cost to attend.
Mother’s Day dinner at Oscar’s
Oscar’s Restaurant on Marina Isle will offer Mother’s Day Dinner on Sunday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
